Bill Bowker

Heard over Sonoma County air waves since 1979, Bill Bowker is involved with all aspects of the Northern California music scene. His "Blues with Bowker" heard on Sunday nights on the KRUSH is one of the longest running blues shows in the country. Bill holds down the 3-7 p.m. shift on the KRUSH and hosts the KRUSH Americana show on Monday evenings. He was named Best Media Personality: TV, Radio, Print for several years running in the Bohemian�s Readers Choice Poll. He also received Blues DJ of the Year by the Bay Area Blues Society's 2010 West Coast Blues Hall of Fame awards. He produces the Sonoma County Blues Festival and Earle Fest as well as other events around the county.

KRSH Radio is a roots based station from Santa Rosa, CA and can be heard at 95.9 and 95.5 and on line at krsh.com.

Bill Frater edits and manages the Freight Train Boogie website. It was created over 10 years ago to spread the word about Americana and Roots music. He also does a bi-weekly radio show on KRCB-FM (91.1 or 90.9) in Sonoma County, CA. that is also called the Freight Train Boogie. The show airs on alternating Thursday nights from 8 to 10 PM pacific time.
